Title: A Series of Celebrations of World Hearing Day 2023 in Nanjing, Jiangsu
Description: The ENT Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University promoted the World Hearing Day 2023 theme across China, distributing educational materials and encouraging hospitals and medical institutions to participate in its celebration. Within the ENT ward and outpatient areas of the hospital, complimentary ear and hearing screenings were provided and a flash dance titled Protect My Hearing was performed to emphasize safe listening. Lectures were also provided for the community and residents of a school for deaf children on ear care and hearing protection. Additionally, newspapers, TV, internet broadcasts, and WeChat were all utilized to reach a broader audience with the World Hearing Day message.
