Description: From March 1 through March 3, 2023, the Department of ENT at Basaveshwar Hospital celebrated World Hearing Day with a series of events. The festivities kicked off with free ENT check-ups and hearing evaluations. The next day, Siddhartha School for the Deaf hosted a painting competition themed around the importance of hearing, rewarding the top three performers. Simultaneously, a rural ENT screening and hearing awareness camp was held at the Community Health Centre in Rajapur, India with selected patients further evaluated at the ENT department. The grand finale on World Hearing Day was a program held at an auditorium, emphasizing the significance of early intervention for hearing loss.
