Description: The Andhra Pradesh Audiologists & Speech Language Pathologists Association (APASLPA) celebrated World Hearing Day 2023 with a series of activities to raise awareness about the importance of hearing. One of their initiatives included a walkathon in Kakinada, India, where 30 audiologists marched with placards to educate the public about the World Health Organization’s World Hearing Day and to underscore the significance of regular hearing check-ups. Furthermore, they organized free hearing screenings across 35 clinical setups throughout Andhra Pradesh, assisting and identifying the needs of 2,000 individuals. These events display APASLPA’s dedication to promoting auditory health in their community.
