Title: World Hearing Day Festivities and Student Ear Screenings

Description:

The World Hearing Day celebrations commenced with hospital staff and patients promoting WHO ear health initiatives through local parades. The group then visited a local school, educating 250 students on ear health, specifically warning about loud noise exposure at local festivals. They successfully conducted ear screenings on 130 young students and revealed multiple instances of ear problems, with one child having a dead cockroach obstructing an ear canal. Additionally, an educational session on ear health, anatomy, and function was held for 60 older students. To finish up the celebrations, a group of 10 severely hearing-impaired children performed a song about their hearing aids and celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony.
