Title: World Hearing Day – Hearing Screenings for Telecallers of Finance Recovery Office

On World Hearing Day 2023, GoHearing held a complimentary hearing screening camp for people working as telecallers at a financial recovery office. These workers face particular risks due to the stressful nature of their occupation as well as frequent noise exposure. The event was publicized via social media flyers and banners, and the screenings were conducted using otoscopy and pure-tone audiometry. Of the 56 employees tested, none showed signs of hearing loss, despite their high-risk profession. Consultations revealed these workers have healthy lifestyles, including good dietary habits and proactive hearing health measures. This zero-incidence result suggests that hearing health is increasingly becoming a priority for the general public.
