Description: On March 3, 2023, Komda PGPKT Central Java organized a set of webinars for World Hearing Day at the RSUP Dr. Kariadi hospital in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The first webinar conducted was titled, “World Hearing Day 2023 for Health Workers of Central Java Province” and was attended by 319 health workers from the province. The second session was specific to congenital hearing loss and titled, “Ear and Hearing Care in Hearing Loss Since Birth for Nurses and Midwives,” which was attended by 260 healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and other health workers. The events provided a platform for these professionals to gain insights into ear and hearing care, particularly for cases of congenital hearing loss. Both webinars were led by a specialist in neurotology.
