Description: On March 8, 2023, an educational event focused on ear examinations and hearing screenings was conducted at the Lotus Posyandu in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This initiative was a collaboration with a hearing aid company that assisted by loaning an otoacoustic emission device to the event, a particularly helpful addition due to the device’s scarcity in Makassar. The event, lasting approximately two and a half hours, was designed for young children who were there for routine weight checks and vaccinations. Parents expressed keen interest in having their children’s ears examined.
