Title: Ear Cleaning for Children with Down Syndrome
Description: On March 12, 2023, an outreach program for parents of students with Down syndrome– and ear cleanings for the students themselves– took place at Yayasan Bina Harapan Sejahtera in the Tembalang district of Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. This event was a collaborative effort with PIK POTADS Central Java, the city’s regional coordinator, and Perhati-BKL North Central Java. Fifty students were examined during this activity. They were cooperative, with twenty of them undergoing cerumen extraction, while fifteen were given ear drops due to hard cerumen.
