Description: In commemoration of World Hearing Day, our team provided a free cochlear implantation to a young patient in need on March 23, 2023 at the RSUP Dr. Kariadi hospital in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The highlight of the activity was the successful performance of a cochlear implant procedure in the facility’s central surgery room, with the assistance of anesthesiologists and nurses. Following the surgery, the patient was moved to their room for a postoperative evaluation which yielded satisfactory results without any complications.
