Title: Korean Society of Audiologists 2023 World Hearing Day Campaign Poster Event
Description: As members of the World Hearing Forum, the Korean Society of Audiologists (KSA) held a special poster event to celebrate World Hearing Day 2023 and increase awareness of the importance of ear and hearing health. The purpose of this event was to spread and promote World Hearing Day through online and in-person channels in Korea. More than 300 hundred KSA members in hearing aid centers, universities, and manufactures participated in this campaign and used KSA posters in their workplaces as well as through online media including Facebook, SMS, or their website’s homepage. Additionally, KSA also published an online newspaper article. KSA aimed to emphasize the importance of professional hearing care in Korea and secure broader recognition for events such as World Hearing Day. Audiology students at Hallym University of Graduate Studies participated in the event by hanging the posters in their classrooms and discussing the topic, “ear and hearing care for all” in class.
