Title: Ear Health Education in the Outpatient Clinic Waiting Room at RSUD Wonosari

Description:

Several educational events were organized by Komda PGPKT Gunung Kidul at the Wonosari Hospital in recognition of World Hearing Day 2023. An event titled, “Ear and Hearing Health Education”, was held on March 13, 2023, in the waiting room of the hospital’s polyclinic. The activities included a presentation and Q&A session about ear and hearing health and were successful in the distribution of information to the polyclinic’s patients and visitors. On March 17, 2023, in the Nakula Room at RSUD Wonosari hospital, a second event was held to educate teenagers about ear health and hearing. The event was successful, reaching out to around 30 teenagers. The education provided valuable information about ear and hearing health, promoting awareness among the youth. Lastly, the team held an Instagram Live activity titled “Understanding Earwax, Should It Be Cleaned?” The session was conducted as a video conference and involved a presentation and Q&A session. The live event attracted 255 Instagram accounts, with 40 staying until the end, and has been viewed by 1,247 viewers to date.
