Title: Events of CDD to Celebrate World Hearing Day, 2023
Description: The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) carried out various activities to raise awareness about ear and hearing care. Twenty-nine sessions were held, educating a total of 1,278 individuals including students, teachers, self-help group members, and members of the community. Of these, 142 were people living with disabilities. They also held six meetings with primary health care providers, attended by 29 individuals, to address the needs of those with hearing loss and ear disease. Additionally, eight community rallies were organized to increase public awareness and influence local decision-makers, with a total participation of 336 people. Lastly, CDD organized two ear screening camps, screening 47 individuals for ear and hearing issues.
