Description: In honor of World Hearing Day, the Student Academy of Audiology at James Madison University provided complimentary hearing screenings for students, faculty, and staff. These screenings were conducted at the campus Audiology Clinic by volunteer Au.D. students in their first and second years. The program successfully offered screenings, subsequent recommendations, and educational resources to a total of 65 participants. The significance of hearing healthcare was underscored through a video and newsletter article about the event, published by the University’s College of Health and Behavioral Studies.
