Title: Care for Your Ears: Awareness and Screening Campaign for University Staff and Students
Description: On World Hearing Day, Osmania University College of Arts and Social Sciences at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India collaborated with Helen Keller’s Institute for Speech and Hearing and the Indian Speech and Hearing Association to conduct an awareness and screening campaign. The event, themed ‘Ear and Hearing Care for All, Let’s Make it a Reality!’, took place on March 6, 2023, and was attended by notable specialists within the field. More than 140 people benefited from free ENT evaluations and hearing screenings and attendees were educated on hearing self-assessments using the ‘HearWHO’ app. The whole program was supported by the Anushodana Team and all participants were given a participation certificate and badge.
