“Oir para Crecer (OPC) held a comprehensive hearing aid fitting and screening event in honor of World Hearing Day. The full-day initiative involved the entire OPC team and catered to individuals of all age groups, with a special focus on the elderly. The event, held at a public school, not only provided hearing aid fittings but also facilitated educational sessions for the relatives and caregivers of the patients. These sessions aimed to equip them with the knowledge of how to properly care for the hearing aids. The event also extended its services to the relatives of the patients by conducting hearing screenings. Despite demanding extensive preliminary preparation, the positive outcomes of the event justified the effort invested.”
