Title: “Transforming sound to picture” and “Feel too”

In Greece’s biggest shopping center in Thessaloniki, a three-day program was organized with two engaging elements. The first component, aimed at illustrating the interrelationship of our senses, involved participants imagining a sound that an artist subsequently visualized, emphasizing the potential impact of hearing loss on comprehensive sensory awareness. The second element aimed to shed light on the everyday hurdles and psychological implications of unattended hearing impairment. Participants simulated the experience of hearing loss by wearing earplugs for an entire day and shared their insights through an internet poll. This event spotlighted the importance of sensory perception and the profound effects of untreated hearing loss.
